This is a cultured milk drink from Japan. Sure, it may not be soda to us in the US, but it was a drink and in a can. It was also very carbonated. The taste was just terrible as most milk drinks are to me. Not as bad as Abali Yogurt Drink, but getting there.

Can this really be categorized as a soda? I'm not sure. It's in a nice can and all but it wasn't carbonated. It was okay, surprisingly. Not as bad as I thought it would be. A decent mild melon taste.
Sweet Blossom Rose Petal - 6.5 thumbs up
This soda was way better than I was expecting. It has a sweet taste but also maintains the rose water flavor. Not bad!

Yes, pea flavored soda! Finally! This is simultaneously sugary and disgusting. It made me wretch. It was just terrible. I'm happy to finally have this out of my fridge.

Dr. Tima was one of the first sodas that I ever tried. Unfortunately it's not one of the bet. This tasted terrible, sour and acidic. Just skip it!

I was warned by multiple people that this would be a terrible soda. My friends did not lead me astray. If you're looking for anything other than the pure novelty of a bacon soda, look elsewhere. It smells like gym socks and tastes even worse. The color is that of rendered pig. Bon appetit!

Alidoro: Lemon Tea with Basil Seeds - 5 thumbs up
Thank you to Billy Jankowski for discovering this strange Thai soda. My father was incredibly hesitant to try this as it looks very strange. The seeds are a bit slimy. That said, it's not a bad drink. My dad came back from seconds! I'm not a big fan on Lemon Tea but I love the concept of these basil seeds for texture. Maybe I just like the look of surprise from my friends when they see it.
Alidoro Basil Seed With Honey Soda
From the moment you look through the clear soda bottle you will see what looks like small tadpoles. Don't be disgusted, they're only basil seeds! With honey, they produce a very strange-looking soda. It smells okay. The texture on the tongue is very strange, though. The taste, like many Thai drinks, is very sweet. Give it a try some time! Thank you to Billy for finding this strange beverage.
Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer - 7 thumbs up
7 thumbs up from the good people at Virgil's. This soda is incredibly sweet, but what would you expect from a butterscotch soda? It is solid and consistent, not sweeter at the beginning or end of the soda. Tastes very similar to those hard candies found in the candy dishes of the elderly. This was given to me by the clerk at the Beverage Wherehouse Outlet in Goleta, a new place to buy bulk sodas at a discount.
I love the bottle - smooth and round. Folks at the soda-tasting party questioned whether this should even qualify as a soda. It was carbonated but tastes too close to bile for my liking.
Wow - this is just terrible! It tastes like bile. This was universally disliked at my soda-tasting party. That said, it gets credit for the very nice bottle art. Perhaps I am not quite ready for fine Italian soda just yet.
A very strange brown plastic bottle houses this honey brewed drink. I like honey normally, but wow. It tastes expired...
It also tastes like boiled honey and seltzer. Not a pleasant taste in a soda. Billy Jankowski found this in a Russian market in Arizona. A good find but a bad taste.
KBAC Soda - 2 Thumbs Up - Ukraine
A Ukrainian soda made from 100% of ingredients in another language and possibly even then misprinted on the label. Big thank you to Billy Jankowski for bringing this to me from Yasha of Rushia in Phoeniz, AZ.
The plastic bottle is shaped like a barrel which is a nice touch. Still, it tastes like beef bullion soaking in water.
