I'm a big fan of coconut and coconut drinks.  Perhaps my expectations were too high on this.  There were real chunks of coconut, but overall the drink was just terrible.  I was also puzzled as the soda both says that it's from Guanajuato, Mexico as well as "product of Thailand."  I'm glad that the Mexicans and Thai have found a way to band together but perhaps they could work harder towards making a more palatable drink.

When you just can't get that Tamarind flavor that you've been looking for everywhere else, look no further.  It is very strong and I'm not a fan of Tamarind.  A fun and different soda, though!

Thank you to Billy Jankowski for discovering this strange Thai soda.  My father was incredibly hesitant to try this as it looks very strange.  The seeds are a bit slimy.  That said, it's not a bad drink.  My dad came back from seconds!  I'm not a big fan on Lemon Tea but I love the concept of these basil seeds for texture.  Maybe I just like the look of surprise from my friends when they see it.

From the moment you look through the clear soda bottle you will see what looks like small tadpoles.  Don't be disgusted, they're only basil seeds!  With honey, they produce a very strange-looking soda.   It smells okay.  The texture on the tongue is very strange, though.  The taste, like many Thai drinks, is very sweet.  Give it a try some time!  Thank you to Billy for finding this strange beverage.

This looks like a standard Thai tea drink. It's sweet, milky and not too bad considering that it's not really a soda. Still, it was fun.

Thai Kitchen Thai Iced Tea : 6/14/2003: At first, this had the taste of an iced mocha drink, but then I was left with a very sour taste that I do not like - 3 thumbs up. Yuk.

It has a sort of earthy flavor from the tea they use. The can states that the drink contains black tea with whole milk. The best Thai tea that I have had so far was mixed with condensed milk instead of whole milk. Since this drink uses whole milk instead, it tastes watery in comparison. I would say it is true to the flavor of Thai tea, but it could be better.
