Coke from China is about the same flavor but a little more mild. It reminded me of Starbucks coffee in China. The same, but milder. What it does have that ours does not is a hot anime drawing on the side and a pull tab.

Guilinggao
Guilinggao : 7/24/2005: Major points for resealable lid with collapsable spoon. It's gelatenous in form, not like a normal soda. Is this jello? It hails from China. The taste is quite sweet with its leechee flavor, but it has a terrible aftertaste.
Easily Boba Milk Tea
Easily Boba Milk Tea : 5/15/2003: Not bad at all. I'd give it seven thumbs up. It's almost like horchata. It's a milky tea with what tastes like cinnamon and nutmeg. The best part about the drink is its experience. Each tea comes in a sealed cup that you have to stab with your fat straw. You use this straw to drink the tea and the little "bobas" inside. These black spheres look like they might be chocolate, but they taste plain. They have the consistancy of gummibears. It's a good drink and a lot of fun. Thanks to Tim for getting one for me!

Paul Manzanar Rating: 7 - If you like Thai tea and you like tapioca, you may like a boba drink. As I understand it, the boba balls at the bottom of the tea drink are supersized tapioca. The first time I was introduced to this drink I refused to even give it a try because I could not get a clear description of what boba was made of. Now I like it and will buy it when I can find it. It is best when mixed together soon after the boba have been made. I have never seen this sold from a shelf at a store; only at Asian tea cafes, and it is possible that is the only place it is sold. If you feel bold give it a try, you may like it. |

Chinese Vanilla Coke
Chinese Vanilla Coke : 3/29/2007: Great! It is slightly stronger in the vanilla but not as sweet as the US version. Explosive flavor! That is to say that the can nearly exploded upon opening - likely due to the pressure of travel. Thanks to Tao Liu for bringing this to me!
China Cola
China Cola : 4/6/2003: 7 thumbs up. This has an interesting taste. No preservatives or caffine, this soda is said to be made with "Imported Chinese Herbs & Spices." Aparently those include Carmel Color and Phosphoric Acid. This is like a watery coke with a little bit of ginger in it. Not completely impressive, and I don't particularly need to finish it.

China Cherry Cola : 4/8/2003: Great! Finally, after a streak of bad sodas. This tastes like cherry cola should taste like. 8 thumbs up. Very smooth, not overwhealming!

American Cola : 2/28/2007: Not only is this soda from outside of America, it's barely a cola! This Chinese soda was brought to me from Tao Liu from Shanghai. It boasts a US Taste and looks a bit like Coke from the outside. From the inside it's nearly an Inca Cola - light in color and flavor. Not bad, but not the bold American taste one might expect form the label. Pull-tab top instead of a push tab. In all, an exciting soda to drink but lacks some boldness in flabor.
