I'm a big fan of coconut and coconut drinks.  Perhaps my expectations were too high on this.  There were real chunks of coconut, but overall the drink was just terrible.  I was also puzzled as the soda both says that it's from Guanajuato, Mexico as well as "product of Thailand."  I'm glad that the Mexicans and Thai have found a way to band together but perhaps they could work harder towards making a more palatable drink.

This is a cultured milk drink from Japan.  Sure, it may not be soda to us in the US, but it was a drink and in a can.  It was also very carbonated.  The taste was just terrible as most milk drinks are to me.  Not as bad as Abali Yogurt Drink, but getting there.

This ginger soda is just plain terrible.  Half a sip was all I could take.  Strong ginger and acid taste.  I don't get what people like about this.

Jones Pea - 1.5

Yes, pea flavored soda!  Finally!  This is simultaneously sugary and disgusting.  It made me wretch.  It was just terrible.  I'm happy to finally have this out of my fridge.

Abbondio Tonica - 1.5

Wow - this is just terrible! It tastes like bile. This was universally disliked at my soda-tasting party. That said, it gets credit for the very nice bottle art. Perhaps I am not quite ready for fine Italian soda just yet.

Taisun Grass Jelly Drink - 1.5

When you're in the mood of some grass jelly drink, there is none better.
Unfortunately it has an unpleasant brown coloring and tastes just as bad.
Mostly it tastes like sugar water. I recall leaving Easter jellybeans in a cup of water overnight as a child and drinking the coctail the next day. I had no idea that I was making a home-brew of grass jelly drink.

Plantation Style Mint Juleep

Plantation Style Mint Juleep : 4/17/2003: Terrible. This was just like taking really bad medicine. It was way too minty and strong. I do like its green bottle with a steamboat on the front. 1 and a half thumbs up.

Kombucha Wonder Himalayan

Kombucha Wonder Himalayan : 7/11/2004: At first smell, this drink is horrible. It smells and almost looks like urine. The taste is almost pure acid. I can't really taste anything, just the acidity. Horrible. I think that the "Wonder" in its name is because it is a wonder why anyone would buy it.
