If you're going to be drinking Honey Aloe soda, it had better have the pulps.  With 70s pull tab and all, this soda promises to be "for nature - for beauty."  I found it to be best for the recycle bin.  The flavor was pretty terrible and unidentifiable in nature.  Then again I'm not usually mixing my aloe and honey.

Can this really be categorized as a soda?  I'm not sure.  It's in a nice can and all but it wasn't carbonated.  It was okay, surprisingly.  Not as bad as I thought it would be.  A decent mild melon taste.

The Noir

The Noir : 8/15/2004: A little presuptuous to be calling itself THE noir, but I suppose there aren't many other noirs. This tastes very much like sweetened iced tea. Not too bad.  

Taisun Pearl Pinapple

Taisun Pearl Pinapple : 9/4/2004: Great! Nice pinapple taste and something a little more - basil seed. Be sure to pour this soda out into a clear glass to have the full effect. The seeds are really neat. Almost like a boba drink. Not bad at all. Neat pull top with a message inside the pull - perhaps the brand name?

Taisun Egg Flavor Soybean Drink

Taisun Egg Flavor Soybean Drink : 9/7/2004: Who can resist a soda with a name like this? The picture is precious as well - an egg yolk falling into milk? egg whites? I may never know. There is no actual egg in the drink, just egg flavor. The color is a milky yellow-brown. It smells very similar to the popcorn easter bunnies that I ate as a kid - the candy eyes were the best part. The taste is not bad at all - almost like popcorn! No egg flavor. 7 thumbs up!

Hey-Song : 8/14/2004: It smells worse than it tastes. This soda claims to be sasparilla, but it smells and tastes much more like black licorice. Not a great taste.

Grass Jelly Drink

Grass Jelly Drink : 8/15/2004: You sure can taste the cane sugar - in fact, it's like it is trying to cover up the taste of the grass jelly. Which really, isn't so bad - I'm not a fan of grass jelly. It tastes like sugary black licorice with a hint of something I can't identify.
