Ramune Strawberry

I picked this great Japanese soda up from Larry at the Plaza Deli in Santa Barbara. This soda has a great red color and tastes strongly of sweet strawberries - just what one would want and expect.

Quick tip for folks trying any Ramnue for the first time: pull the green plunger out of its perforated ring before popping into the top marble. Otherwise you're doomed for frustration or injury.

Sante Alpine Strawberry

Sante Alpine Strawberry : 10/7/2004: A nice refreshing strawberry taste at first, then a terrible, terrible aftertaste. I do not recommend.

Monterey Strawberry Cream

Monterey Strawberry Cream : 9/16/2003: A reasonable taste, but it went away far too quickly. Mostly this is because it was watery. 5 thumbs up. A decent strawberry cream taste to it.  

Hot Rod Strawberry

Hot Rod Strawberry : 4/22/2004: A nice red color in this clear bottle. It must be the red dye #40. The taste is very strawberry. Not a bad strawberry soda. Almost like drinking a fake strawberry. 6.5 thumbs up.

Charlie Os Strawberry

Charlie Os Strawberry : 3/12/2006: This is a nice strawberry soda, thoug a little too sweet. Excellent bright, red color to it. It also has a nice plastic twist top, so you can drink some now and then drink some later.

Archer Farms Strawberry Crème

Archer Farms Strawberry Crème : 6/14/2007: A little strong on the strawberry. Bold and good but also a little too red for me. Reminds me of dye.
