News: Pepsi to make a more green bottle

Nicely done, Pepsi.
They have committed to making their bottles from plant products instead of plastics. Let's hope that this trend picks up from all soda manufacturers!

PepsiCo has developed the world's first 100% PLANT-BASED, 100% RECYCLABLE PET BOTTLE! This innovative bottle is made from bio-based materials including switch grass, pine bark and corn husks. The use of plant-based materials eliminates the need for petroleum, significantly reducing the bottle's carbon footprint. Look out for the new "green" bottle in 2012! Mother Nature must be so proud!
