Mike Shinn Rating: 2 Average User Rating: 4.5 The Gods of Soda Rating: 1 - We are the all powerful gods of the beverage world, and on behalf of all that is sacred and holy that Reeds Raspberry Ginger Brew is a SACRELIDGE, nay, an ABOMINATION unto all that one puts into their mouth. Woe unto all who partake of this foul beverage blasphemy! This soda of horrors makes babies retreat into the womb, the brave shrink in fear, and the old hurry to their graves. When the beverage apocalypse doth come into fruition, Reed shall cry unto the mountains and rocks, saying "Fall upon me and hide me from the faces of the great Gods of Soda!" Thus speaketh the Beverage Gods, and thus shall it come to pass. Amen. Paul Manzanar Rating: 8 - Just to add some balance to the evaluation of this drink, I really like ginger. I eat the candied ginger from Trader Joes as a snack at work from time to time. I like all of the Reeds Ginger drinks. The Raspberry Ginger Brew has a nice berry twist on the ginger flavor and it looks very nice in a glass with ice on a hot day. I conceed that if you do not like ginger, you should not be drinking any of Reeds drinks. BTW, I am fairly certain Reeds does not believe in the "Gods of Soda" and will continue to make drinks as potent as ever. |

In 2003 I discovered Moxie after watching a segment on the Food network. This “new” soda opened my eyes to a world of different sodas that I had never heard of before. This site catalogs my ratings of each of these sodas. If you find any interesting sodas that are not on my list, I would love to try them. If you are interested in trying any of the sodas that I have here, let me know and I'll try to find one for you.

Reeds Raspberry Ginger Brew
Reeds Raspberry Ginger Brew : 4/6/2003: I've learned now that I'm not a big fan of Ginger drinks. This is no exception. I could barely get down the one gulp I put in me. The taste reminded me of that acidy taste you get after vomiting. I want my $2 back.
