Mike Shinn Rating: 1 Average User Rating: 4.5 Ryan Rating: 4 - If you compare the ingredients of maltas (nearly the same ingredient as beers) Malta India shorts you on several key flavors in good maltas. Rafael Rating: 5 - Mike - you're an idiot. You call yourself the soda king? Malta India is not from India. It is actually a caribbean soda, very popular in Puerto Rico. If you grew up drinking "maltas," you would know that Malta India is a classic drink. I do agree it is an acquired taste. |

In 2003 I discovered Moxie after watching a segment on the Food network. This “new” soda opened my eyes to a world of different sodas that I had never heard of before. This site catalogs my ratings of each of these sodas. If you find any interesting sodas that are not on my list, I would love to try them. If you are interested in trying any of the sodas that I have here, let me know and I'll try to find one for you.

Malta India
Malta India : 1/26/2004: Ugh. So gross. I love Indian food, but this was terrible. Definitely a malt beverage. It was very malty. A little too malty. Like a watered down molasses. 1 thumb up. Ugh. Okay - correction per Rafael, this beverage is from Puerto Rico, not India. It is still just as bad. Malt, Puerto Rico
