Abali Yogurt Soda -Original Flavor : 6/22/2004: This could possibly win the prize for the WORST soda ever. I could hardly put any in my mouth before spitting it out in the sink. It took quite a while to wash the taste out of my mouth. The active ingredients include milk, yogurt and carbonated water. This drink was not sour or expired by any means, but it was pretty bad. It was as if someone took cottage cheese and concentrated the taste for a soda. Not great. Half a thumb up. Other, USA
Mike Shinn Rating: .5 Average User Rating: 4.81818181818182 Malcolm Travelstead Rating: 9 - This is great!!! Rating: 10 - once you acquire a taste for it, its unbeatable. I love it. Danny Rating: 1 - I had this years ago when it was in a glass bottle (I have a bottle cap collection so I had to buy it). Yes it was horrible. The only thing is that people from Iran and the Caspian Sea region love it like mothers' milk. People of all ages. But outside that area I think most everyone will agree it's horrible... and now it's in plastic? Please! Yuck!!!! Insult to injury! M. Ala Rating: 10 - You are right, people from Iran and the Middle East love it. It is wonderful with various Kabobs. Cole Rating: 1 - I agree with Mike on this one. My friend is from Iran, and he loves this stuff. I tried it once and it was in front of his family, and I had to actually drink a whole mouthful. It was one of the most excruciating and traumatic experiences of my life. Honestly, terrible. Why would someone want to drink something that tasted like a watered down milk carton that expired during the reign of some ancient king? Rich Rating: 1 - I drank one gulp, rubbed my tongue with a paper towel, drank some water to get rid of the taste and threw up in my mouth. katie Rating: 1 - This is the most discusting thing I've ever tasted. Been eating mints ever since I tasted, hasn't helped!!!! Don't waste your money. hagop Rating: 10 Bobby Rating: 8 - I'm not too crazy about it, but all my friends from the middle east and eastern europe go nuts for it. A friend of mine to me that the company had moved over to plastic bottles because the bottling company was discontinuing the glass bottles and had to switch over to plastic. Go yogurt soda, lol. Lindsay Rating: 1 - By far the worst "soda" I've ever had. At first I thought it soured because it was left in the heat, but we later tried a cold one and it was just as bad. Each to their own I guess...I think this must be an acquired taste. kc Rating: 1 - This would have had a negative rating had I been allowed to go lower than 1. In my office we had a bet going if anyone could drink a whole bottle with out throwing up they would get $100..the money is still here. It smells like simalac(the baby formula) and tastes like salty carbonated cottage cheese gone bad. after one sip my body seemed as if it was rejecting my throat to get rid of the taste. |
